How can you help?
There are lots of different ways you can help to save the lives of stray dogs. Below are some suggestions to help you on your way!
Perhaps you have some spare time to volunteer to help care for dogs, to help transport dogs, to foster a dog or to help with fundraising?
Short on time but plenty of cash? Spread it around! If you can afford to donate to a rescue, whether it's a one off donation or a regular standing order, every penny counts and your money will go directly towards saving animals lives.
Be a responsible dog owner
Microchip your dogs and ensure they are always wearing an address tab. Neuter/spay to avoid more breeding.
Volunteer
If you have enthusiasm and time to spare, or a special skill to offer, why not volunteer to help Rescues so that they can do more great work and save more lives.
Donate
Animal Rescues around the country are constantly struggling to meet the high costs incurred and any donation you can make will help contribute to the wonderful work that they do.
Rehome a rescue dog
If you're looking for a new furry friend there's bound to be a dog waiting in rescue that will fit perfectly in to a forever home with you!
Spread the word
Spreading awareness on the situation facing stray dogs in the UK is an important step in the fight against stray euthanisation.
